What Process do I choose?
C-41 - this is the most common colour film and is what you’ll find in most disposable cameras. Ilford XP2 (a black and white film) is also C-41 process.
Black and White - These cannisters will specify black and white and will be hand processed in our lab on a Tuesday and a Friday.
ECN2 - This is a move film stock available in a variety of speeds, most canisters should state the process as it sadly can’t go through our C-41 machines and is hand processed on Wednesdays.*
E6 - This is a positive process and supplies you with an image visible straight from the film (a positive images rather than a negative one). Specific films are available or you can ‘cross-process’ any C-41 film and see how it turns out!
Do you supply Archival Sleeves?
We deliver cut film in strips of 6 as default, but we are able to supply archival film sleeves as an extra cost (this can be added via the film extras below).
Can you push/pull?
Yes! This can be added below in our processing extras. Pushing and pulling Black and white film can be a great way to test varying aesthetics of a film stock. Colour film can also be pushed and pulled, although a lot of the time you won’t see a speed increase and depending on how the film was shot you may not see much of a difference.
*ECN2 - We will always aim to process your ECN2 film with the corresponding ECN2 chemistry, however, at times when stock is unavailable we will process ECN2 in C-41 chemistry. This is technically a cross-process but does yield good results which we believe still produces a good quality negative from this film. If this is of concern and you have a preference either way, please don't hesitate to get in contact!
